A day at the beach......

Fun, fun day at the beach yesterday!!!

We went to one of our favorite spots, just an hour away, Flag Ponds. Nice shallow water, soft fine sand, beautiful weather, great friends. It was FUN!

Madelyn was NOT happy when we first arrived! She had a bit of a fever, and wouldn't let me put her down. But, she soon warmed up and had fun in the sand!

I love these relaxing days at the beach! My kids are entertained for hours by sand and water. To me this is what summer is all about! LOVE IT!

Happy birthday Brian!!!!

I'm a bit behind in my blogging. Brian's birthday was May 7th, he's 36! What an old man!

We took the family out to dinner to Chevy's (Brian's favorite restaurant), then home for cake/ice cream. He requested an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins (something we hadn't done before), and we weren't sure we would get all the candles on that cake! It was a fun night, and we are so happy to celebrate our daddy/husband's birthday! We are lucky to have such a wonderful guy in our lives!

Duncan learns to ride his bike!!!!

Duncan learned to ride his bike this month! YAY! Poor guy started learning last year, and we were slacker parents, and didn't get him out there enough to keep it up! So this spring we went out, and he did awesome! GO Duncan!

That's what I heard the kids chanting outside, and when I came to see what was going on I found my neighbors kid up our tree!

He was trying to get down a toy that got thrown up there.

I was yelling at him to be careful and to GET DOWN!

 But of course I had to snap a photo of it as well!

Everything ended well, no injuries. I just couldn't believe that he had shimmied up that tree like that! CRAZY kids!
