What have YOU been doing the past week?

Well, WE have had no shortage of excitement around here.
Madelyn & I spent 5 hours in the E.R. after she got into a bottle of Tylenol from my purse. She got the 'child proof' lid off, and I didn't KNOW if she actually ate any or not. So, to be safe I took her in, she had to drink the charcoal stuff, then wait for 4 hours to test her blood. Fun day. NOT!
Same night as above mentioned E.R. trip we drove up to Philadelphia.
We stayed over night to see the Olympia ship (built in 1892) that is due to be scrapped soon.

Duncan lost another tooth. That makes the 4 top ones gone all at the same time!
Duncan also started soccer.

Ronan got some dirt in his eye at Duncan's soccer practice.
The next morning I took him to the Dr. to find out that it was embedded in his eye lid and was scratching his eye every time he blinked! OUCH! No wonder he was yelling out in pain-it WASN'T just drama (so hard to tell with this one)!

 Ashlyn started pre-school!
She loves it!
Can't believe how big she is!

Maybe not so big....Ashlyn cut her hair.....AGAIN!

Ronan found this gigantic caterpillar in our yard!

So, how was your week?

T-Ball

I've been trying to play catch-up with my blog.
Ashlyn started T-Ball this month.
She's GREAT!
She is the ONLY girl on the team with 14 boys.
GO ASHLYN!

Disney World Day 7-Last Day!

For the last day, we had the kids pick where they wanted to go one last time before we jumped on the plane. It came down to 2 parks.....The Magic Kingdom & Epcot.
The Magic Kingdom

There was a trolley just about to go up Main Street when we walked in, so Brian & 4 of the kids hopped on and met us up at the Castle.

 Ashlyn on the Carousel.

The princess walking around her kingdom.

 Dumbo ride.

We had to see if there were any King's of England among us....
 Nope, not Morgan.

 Sorry Ronan....
He has been telling us for years "My people need me!"
He was born in England, and claims he has rights to the throne.
I've told him it doesn't quite work that way.

 Brian's trying REALLY hard!

 Finally!
The last day at Epcot she got a picture with Mickey!
She'd been looking forward to this all week!

 Oh, and Pluto!

And Minnie!!!

We had until 3:00pm the last day to play at the parks, then headed to the airport.
Great flight home.
Late night.
Wonderful Memories!

Disney World Day 5 & 6 (Blizzard Beach and The Animal Kingdom)

Day 5-Blizzard Beach
This day went much better than our Typhoon Lagoon experience.
We all stayed together.
First we all went on the family raft ride Teamboat Springs, I was so happy that even Madelyn was able to go on this! We enjoyed it so much, and since there was no line (the theme for the week), we went again!
We then all floated around the park on the Lazy River-LOVE that!
Then we swapped and I went on some big slides with the big kids, and Brian hung out with the little girls in the kiddie area.
This water park was much better laid out in my opinion.
The kiddie area was near the entrance AND the bathrooms, AND the food.
There was only 2 ways to get in & out-made it much easier for watching multiple children.
We all met up for lunch, and another go on the Lazy River (Madelyn & Ashlyn almost fell asleep laying on our laps on this round).
Then Brian took some big kids on some more slides while I hung out with the kiddies.
We left in the early afternoon again, and went home for naps for ALL!
We ordered pizza and stayed in for the night.
Oh yes, Brian did take 3 or 4 of the kids to the pool that night as well.
Good Day.....only 1 picture, just a good day.
Ashlyn in the sand at Blizzard Beach!

Day 6-The Animal Kingdom

Family with the 'Tree of Life' behind us.

When we first arrived we went directly to the "It's tough to be a Bug' show.
It was great. Brian then went to pick up some free 'Fast Passes' we had a voucher for (due to some problems we had a Hollywood Studios with a stunt show), and I took the kids to get in line for the safari and wait for him. Well, that was funny, because there was NO LINE! This was our 6th day in Disney, and we hadn't experienced any lines, but I hadn't learned yet. So we stood at the front just letting everyone go on until Brian showed up.
Then we all hopped on and enjoyed some animals!
 Rhino's
 Giraffe's

 Elephant's.
And many more.
We then headed over to the Tusker House Restaurant for lunch. In my opinion this was the BEST food we had at the parks! Great place-I wouldn't miss it!
After lunch we went on a Jungle Trek, rode Expedition Everest, went to the Dinosaur area, and had a blast. It was so NOT busy that Ashlyn & I rode some rides a few times without ever even getting off the ride, there was no one in line. It was great!
Duncan, Morgan & Ashlyn with a friend from Tarzan.

Tree woman.

Madelyn hanging out with Daddy in the Dinosaur Dig at the end of the day.

We were home for some left over pizza, and a quick rest.
It being our last night here, I took Duncan, Morgan & Hayden out for some more fun at the parks.
We first went to Epcot.
Duncan LOVED the 'Soarin' Ride, so we did that several times, along with the Mission:SPACE ride.

Then we headed over to Hollywood Studios for 2 rides,
The Tower of Terror
And the Rock 'N' Roller Coaster!
Both such a blast!
We also had to buy a new stroller, as ours broke at the end of the day before. It ended up being a good thing, as Duncan was TIRED by the time we left, and plopped down into it!
Good fun memories were made that night!

Disney World Day 4- Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios!!!

Cute Madelyn here..

The tower of Terror!
Ronan was a bit spooked by this ride, but Duncan LOVED it!
Went on it several times!

Honey I Shrunk the Kids set...
Madelyn played in the water coming off the leaf the whole time we were in this place!

One sad part of this trip was that the ride STAR TOURS closed the day before we got there for refurbishment! AHHHHHH! If you know my family, you know just how devastating this was!
But the kids handled it really well.

Here's where the day gets 'sticky' for ME.
We had lunch at the Sci-Fi Restaurant.
Which is an awesome place!
Your tables are like cars, and there is a GIANT 'dirve-in' theater screen in front.
The kids watched and ate happily, and Brian & I got to sit and chat for a bit.
That is until.....
the hot fudge sundae was dropped on my head and down my back!
Apparently she came from behind us, and Brian reached over to help grab something, but bumped her tray, and there was my sundae, ALL OVER ME!
I got a free Disney shirt out of the deal, but my hair smelled like sour milk the rest of the day!

Then, after lunch Hayden caught a lizard (which the kids were trying to do since day one)
And he quickly ran up Hayden's shirt!
I wish I could some way convey the jumping and girlish screaming that happened as soon as this photo was taken! It was a hilarious time! We will talk about this for years!
On the way out we caught a High School Musical number.
The kids enjoyed watching that.

We left Hollywood Studios before dinner, and had some time in the pool that evening.

This is Madelyn trying to 'step over' the water.
She did this for some time before....
She decided to just walk through it!
